More than 500 people enjoyed fun in the sun at Hexthorpe’s Party in the Park this afternoon.
Scores of visitors attended Flatts Park to take in some live music and hunt for a bargain on a range of stalls.
Youngsters also enjoyed a range of games and activities, bouncy castle and face painting.
Acts on the main stage included the Black Cat Theatre Group and a martial arts display from the Andy Crittendens Martial Arts Centre.
There was a brief shower early on, but generally visitors enjoyed glorious sunshine.

Lisa Challenger, 34, attending with her daughter Starr, three, added: “It has been really great. We have really enjoyed it.”
