Christians hit the streets of Doncaster to mark Easter today, speaking of the pressures faced by followers of Jesus in other countries.
The Civic mayor of Doncaster and the Bishop of Doncaster Peter Burrows joined others taking part in the Annual Walk of Witness to mark Good Friday.
The address by the chairman of Churches Together in Central Doncaster, outside Mansion House spoke of the threats being made to Christians in other countries.
A procession from the Mansion House saw a cross carried through the town centre to the Market, where prayers were said and hymns sung.
Churches Together in Central Doncaster invited Christian across the Borough to join them in the walk through Doncaster Town Centre. The walk starts outside the Mansion House in the High Street, moves on to the Market Place and finished outside Priory Place Methodist Church.
