The sister of a 24-year-old man, who tragically died after sustaining fatal injuries in a Doncaster collision last night, has paid tribute to the young dad.
Ben Hart was discovered seriously injured in Oak Lane, Sykehouse at around 6.20pm last night by a passing motorist, following a collision that led to his silver Vauxhall Astra ending up in a roadside ditch.
The dad-of-one, was driving home from work when the collision occurred, was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary for emergency medical treatment but sadly passed away from his injuries at around 7.50pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, November 25).
His younger sister, Lucy Hart has this afternoon paid tribute to him.
She told the Free Press: "He loved going to the gym, he loved being a dad to his 18 month old son, Alex.
"He was about to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, we can't believe it."
The 21-year-old added: "Ben was an amazing dad, he worshiped the ground he walked on and couldn't do enough for him."
Ben, who lived in Goole with his family, leaves behind his fiance Natalie King, his son Alex Hart, his brother Toby Hart, mum Sharon Hart and sister Lucy.
South Yorkshire police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision or anyone who may hold information to contact them.
