Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Swinton collision

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after his car collided with trees in the early hours of the morning, (Sunday February 8).

At around 4.45am, it is reported that a silver Vauxhall Vectra was travelling along the A633 Warren Vale from Swinton towards Parkgate.

Approximately 300m from the junction with the B6090 Wentworth Road, it is reported that the Vectra left the road and was in collision with some trees.

A man driving the Vectra was taken to hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries, where his condition is described as stable.

Witnesses to the collision should call 101 quoting incident number 221 of 8 February 2015.
