Doncaster motorcyclist dies days after collision

A Doncaster motorcyclist has died of his injuries 10 days after he was involved in a collision with a car.

The 44-year-old was airlifted to Leeds General Hospital following accident, at around 3.50pm on Friday February 27.

It is believed the motorcyclist was travelling west along the A645, just past Snaith, East Yorkshire, when a red Nissan Navara 4x4 car towing a trailer exited a car park and turned right towards the village of Snaith.

The motorcycle and the 4x4 car came into contact with one another, causing the rider to be thrown from his motorcycle.

Humberside Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
