A twinkle-toed dancing duo are set to wow the theatre crowds after they were picked to star in a marathon run of panto shows.
Charlotte Geddes, 12, and Isabelle Nicholl-Marshall, 10, will take their roles as dancers in a run of 27 shows of Jack and the Beanstalk shows at the Plowright Theatre in Scunthorpe.
Charlotte, of Crowle, and Isabelle, of Ealand, passed an audition with flying colours and will take to the stage throughout the festive season.
Charlotte’s mum Sue, 47, a full-time mum, said: “We are so proud of her, she has done really well.
“The audition was tough. Only 14 got in out of about 60 or 70 who went.
“Both girls have done incredibly well and we can’t wait to go and see them.”
Charlotte, who attends The Axholme Academy, and Isabelle, a pupil at Crowle Primary School, have been winning prizes for their dancing talents from a young age.
They won a series of awards at the Bullcroft Festival earlier this year.
The panto run will run from December 7 to January 5.
