The Easter Fayre organised by Stainforth Town Council is on Saturday April 16 in the Resource Centre on Church Road 12noon-4pm. There will be a Best Decorated Easter Bonnet competition and a Best Decorated Egg, and these will be judged around 3pm on the day.

Stainforth Town Council hold their meetings at 6.30pm, on the third Tuesday of the month except August and December. (Unless otherwise notified) with 15 minutes public participation prior to commencement of the meeting. The latest names of former Councillors being added to the Roll of Honour in the Council Chamber is 2008 D Bower, 2009 T Papworth and 2010 G Headlem.
To Consider potential grounds maintenence contractor- the clerk is to query this and report back to the Town Council.
It was agreed to give a £100 towards Stanley Gardens after a request from them for financial help.
The amount of £200 was allocated to Stainforth Juniors Football club after they asked for financial help.
Planning- no objection was raised to the request from Mr S Walker, 1,Mayfield Avenue for an erection of a two storey pitched roof garage/extension to side of semi detached house.
The Town Council meet again on Tuesday April 19 at 6.30pm in the Town Council Chamber, Town Council Office.
A new sign has been erected at the entrance to Hugh Hill Lane on Kirton Lane, with reference to Fly Tippers Telephone (01302) 736222 to report anyone (in confidence) dumping rubbish.
