BOSSES at Doncaster Racecourse have revealed that some of their St Leger packages are on the brink of selling out - six months in advance.
The tickets are for Leger Day and Ladies’ Day of the four day festival which last year attracted around 60,000 racegoers. Last year saw the re-introduction the borough’s week-long Leger Festival week with a number of activities organised
to supplement the race meeting. Tourism bosses said the extended festival brought in £10 million for the borough.
Mark Spincer, managing director of Doncaster Racecourse, said demand fopr ticketrs was “highly encouraging” and he was hopeful of another bumper crowd.
