Regular users of Coronation Hall in Owston Ferry are celebrating after receiving more than £2,000 from North Lincolnshire Council.

The council gave a grant of £2,430 for updates to the hall.

The money will be used to upgrade the hall’s existing lighting and replace it with a more environmentally friendly energy efficient system.

The grant was given support by Isle of Axholme MP Andrew Percy and ward councillors William Eckhardt and Ron Allcock. Pictured are trustee Paul Rowan, Mayor of North Lincolnshire Coun Peter Clarke, secretary of trustees Eddie Bond, Coun Ron Allcock and trustee Wilf Boothman.
