Tomorrow sees the latest contest for the infamous Haxey Hood - and to mark the annual occasion we've dipped into the archives to find some photos from years gone by.

Regulars from four pubs in Haxey and Westwoodside will be doing battle in the muddy fields of the Isle of Axholme once again tomorrow - just as they have been doing for every year since 1359 in a bid to land the prized Hood.
