APPEAL: Police have released this E-fit of a man who flashed at a teenage girl.

A PERVERT who flashed at a teenage girl is wanted for police questioning.

The incident happened when an 18-year-old girl got off a bus on York Road at the junction with Pipering Lane in Scawthorpe.

Seconds later a man driving a dark coloured saloon car pulled up alongside her, wound down the passenger window and called for the girl to come over.

Believing he was going to ask for directions, the girl walked over to the car and leant into the open window.

The man then said to her: “Can you help me undo the button?”, gesturing down with his head.

On looking down, the girl saw the man was indecently exposed, ran from the car and called the police.

Detectives are hoping this E-fit will help bring witnesses forward to help identify the man.

The incident happened on Wednesday, February 15, just before 12.30pm.

Anyone with information is urged to call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 438 of February 15, 2012.
