A 96-year-old woman needed hospital treatment after bashing her head in a bus crash which brought Doncaster town centre to a standstill.
The woman, from Bawtry, was left with a serious head injury after the number 15 double-decker bus she was travelling on was involved in a crash with a silver VW Passat, believed to be a taxi.
The smash happened on Friday at 2.45pm at the junction of St Sepulchre Gate and Trafford Way and caused traffic chaos through out the town centre.
A police spokesman confirmed the pensioner had been left with cuts and bruises, but was released from Doncaster Royal Infirmary on Friday evening.
No one else was injured.
Police are now urging anyone with information on the crash to come forward.
Witnesses are asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 589 of Friday, 2 March.
