PARENTS got to work alongside their children for a family learing project at Swinton Queen Primary School.
A group of 15 mums and dads completed the ten week City and Guilds Literacy Test, which involved working on reading and writing tasks with their kids. The course was delivered at the school by Rotherham Council’s family learning team.
Sara Gray, a teacher and family learning co-ordinator, said: “It was great to see parents working alongside their children.”
The group will receive their certificates from Deputy Rotherham Mayor David Pickering on Friday.
