One of Doncaster oldest residents has died at the age of 101.

Maud Granger passed away at Chapel Garth Residential Home on New Year's Day.

Mrs Granger, of Bentley, was known as a bit of a daredevil and took part in a motorbike ride to celebrate her 96th birthday five years ago.

An obituary said: "Maud will be sadly missed by all her family and friends."

The service and commital will take place at Rose Hill Crematorium on January 19 at 10am. Family flowers only, but donations may be made to Yorkshire Wildlife.
