MEDICAL help at the London 2012 Olympics will be provided by several ambulance workers from South Yorkshire.

They will be among 28 staff from Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust who volunteered for secondments with London Ambulance Service to help the millions of spectators expected at the Games.

Volunteers left for the capital on Monday to spend three weeks at venues such as the Velodrome and Olympic Stadium.
