New play area built

A REQUEST by Althorpe and Keadby Primary pupils has resulted in a new £75,000 play area being opened in Keadby.

The facility was built in two stages, the first costing £35,000 and the second being completed last month.

This final £40,000 stage consists of the introduction of equipment for the older children including a zip wire and MUGA (multi use games area) extension.

Cash for the scheme came from North Lincolnshire Council and the project was officially handed over to Althorpe and Keadby Parish Council last week.
