Motorcyclist seriously injured in Doncaster collision

A 28-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Braithwell, Doncaster.

At around 11pm on Saturday November 1, a white Suzuki motorcycle, being ridden by the 28-year-old man, was travelling along Fish Pond Lane, Braithwell, in the direction of Braithwell from Maltby.

Near to Lambcote Grange, it is believed that the motorcycle went into a skid for approximately 40m before coming into collision with the wall of a property.

The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and collided with the wooden gates of the property.

The 28-year-old man was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.

It is believed that there were false number plates on the motorcycle.

Anyone who may have witnessed the manner of riding prior to the collision, or who may have information about the motorcycle, is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1499 of 1 November 2014.
