Lovell is celebrating its second big success of the year after its customer service was ranked gold standard by house buyers, just weeks after being crowned a five-star house builder.

The Gold Award for Customer Satisfaction comes following an independent national survey by Inhouse Research, in which 90% of customers revealed they would happily recommend Lovell.

Customers who had purchased a new home from Lovell over the last 12 months were asked a series of questions on their whole buying experience, with the results showing Lovell’s customer service is amongst the best in the industry.

Colette Armstrong, Regional Sales Manager, says: “At Lovell, we work exceptionally hard to deliver excellent customer service and put a great deal of time and effort into training our sales advisers, and our customer care department is of the utmost importance to us, so receiving this accolade is a very proud moment for us.

“We believe in providing our customers with the best service throughout their buying experience, from the moment they visit one of our show homes to the day they get the keys to their new home and beyond, ensuring each buyer is happy in their new home is our priority.

Inhouse Research contacted every Lovell customer from the previous 12 months for the survey, resulting in a 75% response rate and a very high level of customer satisfaction.

Those who took part in the survey were asked to answer a specific set of ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions covering their home buying experience.

Malcolm Pitcher, Managing Director of In-house Research, comments: “During the last 12 months we have witnessed many of our clients achieving very high scores for overall customer satisfaction and recommendation - this really does show that the industry is improving year on year.

“New home owners want to talk about their experience, and as a result, our clients are taking the whole customer experience very seriously and want to ensure that their customers have the best possible service throughout the whole process of purchasing their new home.

“Clients have invested a lot of time and effort into making the customer experience special and they are now starting to reap the rewards with high recommendation levels.”

Earlier this year, Lovell was named a five-star house builder by the Home Builders Federation in its annual National New Home Customer Satisfaction Survey, receiving a 90% recommendation score.
