WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS EXTREMELY STRONG LANGUAGE WHICH SOME MAY FIND OFFENSIVE

The 90 second clip, uploaded to video sharing website YouTube, shows office workers crudely discussing the funnel cloud as it forms in the skies above Doncaster.

Entitled "twister over Doncaster," it is not clear where and when the clip was filmed, but it was uploaded to the site yesterday by user Adam Checkley who subtitled the footage "twister weather over doncaster."

The clip, thought to have been filmed on a mobile phone, shows a dark grey funnel cloud stretching down from the skies above what appear to be industrial premises.

Several colleagues can be heard expressing their disbelief as they watch the tornado form with one heard saying: "Its coming down out of the cloud at the side of the tree."

The workers make a series of explicit, four-letter word filled observances as they watch the tornado and one adds: "There's things happening up there. Freak weather."

The cloud then appears to retreat back into the clouds with one man adding: "It does happen - they don't always touch the ground."

Tornadoes are usually a violently rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud.

They are often referred to as twisters and most have wind speeds less than 110 miles per hour and travel a few miles before dissipating.

However, the most extreme tornadoes can attain wind speeds of more than 300 miles per hour stretch more than two mile across, and stay on the ground for dozens of miles.
