Thirsty South Yorkshire Times readers are being offered a free cup of tea or coffee.
Your favourite family read has teamed up with sandwich shop Creamy Crumbs to offer a hot drink worth about £1 whenever you buy something to eat.
Just cut out the coupon in the June 19 edition of the paper and take it to the shop in Main Street, Mexborough, to claim your hot beverage.
The coupon is valid between Thursday June 19 and Wednesday, June 25.
The sandwich and light bites outlet was only opened three months ago by husband and wife team, Brian and Debbie Housley, and Brian said: “We serve all kinds of sandwiches including our special tasty hot pork sandwiches every Thursday. We also sell wraps, salad boxes, jacket potatoes, fruit bowls, pies and much more.” The shop is open from 7am to 3pm, but Brian said he may change the opening hours to open one hour later to optimise his customer footfall.
To claim your free tea or coffee, when buying something to eat, cut out the coupon on the right and present it to staff at Creamy Crumbs, Main Street, Mexborough. The offer is open from Thursday, June 19 to Wednesday, June 25, during the shop’s opening hours, and all terms and conditions are included within the coupon. To order a tasty treat call 07852763378.
Meanwhile, other business owners who have teamed up with us for the Owt Fer Nowt offer have told how the scheme has been a success.
Phil Toone, who gave away dog chews from his Mexborough market stall, said: “I had about 30 people take up the offer. It is a good campaign, it gets new customers into the business along with existing ones aswell.”
Flower stall owner Bev Taylor added: “Any sort of free promotion is worth doing, especially when businesses and markets are trying to get more trade in at times like this.”
Kyle Rberts, 27, of the Coffee Pot Cafe in Mexborough, said: “This is a great freebie offer for your readers.”
