Two people have been arrested after two cars collided in Austerfield, Doncaster, injuring the six occupants.
Police investigating the collision on the High Street want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, on Friday, January 17, which involved a silver Mercedes, travelling in the direction of Finningley, and a silver Vauxhall Astra, in the opposite direction.
Four people in the Mercedes, two men aged 46 and 23 and two women aged 45 and 23, were all injured, the older woman seriously.
A 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman in the Vauxhall and both sustained minor injuries.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle, and the manner of driving, prior to the collision.
The driver of a white van also stopped briefly at the scene to help and police would like to speak to them as they could have witnessed the incident.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident. A man and woman were detained on suspicion of driving offences and bailed pending further enquiries.
Witnesses, or anyone with information about the collision, is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1279 of January 17.
