Doncaster RLFC fans can now purchase club tickets and merchandise from a new town centre outlet.

The club has teamed up with Doncaster Tourist Information Centre to provide an additional location for fans support their home town team.

Dons’ match tickets and replica shirts are now on sale from the Tourist Information Centre, based in The Blue Building on High Street.

Carl Hall, chief executive of Doncaster RLFC, said “We’re pleased to be able to give fans more opportunities to buy match tickets. The new ticket outlet at The Blue Building will give Dons fans the chance to buy their match tickets early without making a special trip down to the Keepmoat Stadium.

“Also, by having replica shirts available will not only allow fans to purchase the club kit more easily, but it will showcase the Dons to the many visitors who enter the tourist information centre each day.”

Doncaster Tourist Information Centre is managed by Doncaster Borough Council.

Bob Johnson, DMBC Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Tourism, added “It’s great that Doncaster Tourism can support the Doncaster Dons in this way. They are a club that is going places and hopefully with our help we can raise their profile further, not just in the town but with visitors from further afield.”

Doncaster RLFC have had a fantastic start to the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship season in their campaign to #Makethe8, with four wins out of their opening six matches, including third and fourth round wins in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

Following Rugby Football League’s decision to restructure the Super League, Doncaster RLFC is aiming for a top eight finish in the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship season to establish a platform for promotion into Rugby’s elite competition in the near future.
