Pupils at Ridgewood Trust School in Scawsby, Doncaster, are the only ones in Yorkshire to test out LEGO Education’s pioneering new robotics technology, before its official launch in August.

The school was selected by LEGO Education, because it is one of the UK’s leading engineering specialist schools.

The school strives to encourage interest among its pupils in careers across the diverse field of engineering, where traditional skills and the latest technologies combine.

Neil Wooliscroft, director of engineering and technology, said: “Discovering new engaging ways of learning through robotics is high on our students’ wish list, and the chance to try it out before other pupils across the country has made it quite the hit this term.”
