Prisoner No 6 goes on the run from Doncaster jail

A sixth man has gone on the run from HMP Hatfield at Doncaster in the space of five weeks.

The latest was yesterday afternoon.

South Yorkshire Police are seeking to trace Mounir Jaouane , who absconded from HMP Hatfield in Doncaster at around 3pm yesterday afternoon, Monday, June 30.

He had been released on temporary licence to his former home address in Lathkill Road, Woodthorpe, Sheffield, and failed to return to prison.

Jaouane was sentenced to an indeterminate prison sentence for robbery in January 2007.

He is described as being black, around 5ft 8ins tall and of a medium build. He has short dark hair and brown eyes.

Members of the public have been advised not to approach Jaouane but, if they see him, to call police on 101, quoting incident number 648 of June 30, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
