Plans to involve young people in Crowle in the local democratic process and daily politics have been agreed by the town council.
Chairman of the council, Ron Stewart, said he had been in talks with young people to set up a Youth Council as they were keen to attend council meetings.
Mr Stewart said: “I feel it is important to include young people in local issues. As a council body we could help to educate young people in how to raise money and how to put together costs together.”
He added: “I have already spoken to youth organisation Gravity Red and they agree that this would be a good idea. We may invite a young person to our next meeting.”
