Model Danielle ready to scale new heights

Doncaster model Danielle Hanson is taking part in a charity skydive for Cancer Research UK.

Budding beauty queen Danielle Hanson is used to strutting her stuff on the catwalk – but now she’s set for a starring role of a different kind.

The South Yorkshire model is set to go to great heights with her boyfriend Ryan Winks when the daredevil pair jump out of a plane from 15,000ft to tackle a charity skydive.

She said: “I’ve done a bit of charity fundraising in the past but this time I wanted to do something that was really ‘out there’ and that’s where the idea of a skydive came about.

“When I told my mum she said there was no way she would let me do it and I was nuts.”

It’s a far cry from everyday life for bakery shop worker Danielle, aged 23, from Skellow, Doncaster, although boyfriend Ryan, 33, from Barnsley is used to thrills and spills, carving out a career as an amateur jump jockey and recently winning a race at Fakenham.

The pair will take to the skies above Nottinghamshire for the charity jump later this year and are aiming to raise £400 for Cancer Research UK and The Injured Jockeys Fund.

Danielle admitted: “I know by the time the day comes round I will be panicking.”
