Convicted paedophile and former Lostprophets front man, Ian Watkins, has had his appeal against the length of his jail term thrown out by judges.

Appeal judges said his offences were “of such shocking depravity that they demanded a lengthy prison sentence”.

Watkins was jailed for 29 years in December, with another six years on licence, for a string of child sex offences, including the sexual abuse of a 12 month-old baby from Doncaster.
