Generous Ash Hill Academy students organised a charity day to raise more than £750 for the Mayflower Animal Sanctuary in Bawtry.

Students at the Hatfield school held a non-uniform day and sold around 100 cupcakes.

It is the latest in a series of fundraising events which has seen them raise more than £2,000 in the last year.

Student Holly Ridgeway-Bowyer, pictured, was the main organiser.
