Former Doncaster midwife dies after long illness
A former Doncaster midwife has died after a long illness.
Ex-midwifery sister Dorothy Squires-Gwatkin, known throughout the Doncaster area as Sister Squires, died earlier this month.
Described in an obituary as a "very well known lady of the Conisbrough area," Mrs Squires died on April 19.
She was the beloved wife of George Gwatkin.
The funeral service will take place at St Peter's Church, Conisbrough on May 5 at 11.45am followed by cremation at Rose Hill Crematorium at 1pm.
