It seems love is in the air in for Doncaster residents who have been named the biggest consumers of romantic fiction in the country for the second year running.

Donny folk are reading more romance books than anywhere else in the UK, according to Amazon.co.uk.

South Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley and West Yorkshire’s Pontefract also appear in the Top 10 making Yorkshire the most romantic region in the UK.

And Doncaster also featured second on the list of the Top 10 most well-read towns and cities in the UK.
