Doncaster crime round-up, Monday March 31

The following crimes were reported to Doncaster Police on Sunday and Monday morning. Call 101 with any information.

Burglaries

Rossington: A television and computer equipment were stolen from a house on Smillie Road on Saturday night. They had forced the rear door. Two people were later arrested and one charged with handling stolen property.

Hyde Park: A house suffered a break-in at 1am, when the occupant heard a bang coming from downstairs. The back door had been kicked open. The intruder is believed to have left wiouth taking anything after being disturbed.

Cantley: A chain saw and other power tools, worth around £1,000 in total, were stolen when a shed was broken into at Insley Gardens on Saturday night.

Dunscroft: Around £1,000 worth of fishing tackle was stolen from a shed in Broadwater Drive, Dunscroft. The raid is thought to have been between 8pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday.

Theft:

Town centre: A mobile phone and a purse were stolen from a handbag in a Doncaster nightclub on Saturday night. The incident was reported as happening at the Priory, on Bradford Row in the early hours of Sunday.

Balby: A bicycle was stolen from outside the Morrisons, on Watervole Way, Balby, on Sunday morning between 7am and 7.30am. It had been locked and was in the bike shelter.
