Dearne motorists are being reminded that access to a car park in Rotherham town centre is to change over the next two months while roadworks are carried out.
The only way in and out of the Drummond Street car park for the next eight weeks will be via Norfolk Street as Nottingham Street will be closed to all traffic.
This will allow utilities work to be carried out on Nottingham Street as part of the site development for the new Tesco store.
Site developer ISG is continuing with the major improvement works along Drummond Street and from next week will be starting to form the kerb lines near the Rotherham market entrance.
As a result the loading area and disabled parking bays on the downside of the market entrance will also be out of action for up to three weeks.
