Sheffield has been chosen as one of the host venues of Wing It 2016, the largest wing eating competition in the UK, which is offering guzzlers the chance to be the undisputed King or Queen of the chicken wing.

Taking place at seventeen pubs simultaneously on July 28, the contender who can munch down twenty hot wings in the fastest time at Bungalows & Bears on Division Street will be crowned the winner; receiving a year’s worth of wings and will go home sporting a commemorative trophy.

And that’s not all - the overall UK winner from all seventeen competitions will receive a year’s worth of beer from Meantime Brewing Co.

For those wanting to spectate rather than participate, a variety of wings will be half price all evening.

The event will kick off at 6pm with the competition commencing at 8pm.

To sign up, simply contact the pub of choice via phone, email, Twitter, Facebook or drop in and talk to a member of staff.
