Firefighters were called out to deal with a fire in a derelict factory in the early hours of this morning.

A blaze broke out at the former Nuttall’s Mintoes factory off King’s Road, Doncaster, at about 2am.

Firefighters from Doncaster Central, Adwick and Edlington fire stations were called out and spent about two hours at the scene.

Fire officers said they could not confirm wether it was deliberate or not at this stage.

The old factory was targeted by arsonists in July last year.
