Young people across part of the Dearne are being encouraged to ‘Make their Mark’ on government policy by filling in a questionnaire to outline their priorities for change.

Updating the national curriculum, reducing the voting age to 16, and improving public transport provision are among the topics which young people in Doncaster are asked to rate in order of importance.

The top four chosen will form the basis of a debate by the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) in the Houses of Parliament on November 23.

The ‘Make Your Mark’ ballot is open for voting until Friday, October 12, and votes can be cast by email at youth.council@doncaster.gov.uk
