Police searching for a missing Doncaster woman found a body this morning.

The body is believed to have been hanging from a tree in Sandall Beat Wood, near Intake.

The woods were the subject of an intensive search by a large number of officers this morning after a young woman was reported missing.

A police spokesman confirmed a body had been found and there were no suspicious circumstances but identification has not yet been confirmed.

A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out later today.
