Woman hurt in bus incident in Conisbrough

An elderly woman was injured this afternoon after a vehicle collided with her mobility scooter in Conisbrough, Doncaster.

Emergency services were called to March Vale Rise just after 3pm to reports of a woman in her 70s stuck underneath a mini-bus.

A police spokesman said the mini-bus was believed to have backed into the woman’s mobility scooter.

Firefighters assisted paramedics in lifting the woman into a spinal board because she had a suspected head injury.
