Three years behind bars for woman who caused death by texting at wheel

A woman has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. A woman has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. A DONCASTER woman has been jailed for three years after admitting causing death by dangerous driving.

Susan Noble, 29, of Armthorpe, caused the death of a 25-year-old man after what has been described by police as a “serious error of judgement”.

She was driving a Ford Fiesta on the A19 near Northallerton in December 2011, when she hit Alexandru Braninski who was standing on the hard shoulder while a wheel was being changed on his Skoda.
