Speeding enforcement in Epworth

editorial image

Speed enforcement officers are carrying out an operation in Epworth to crackdown on motorists who ignore a 30mph limit.

Officers from North Lincolnshire Council will erect a flashing speed sign on Belton Road from April 1.

Police officers will also be making extra patrols to catch speeding motorists.

Neil Norvock, traffic team manager at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “We would struggle to enforce 20mph speed limits on the stretch of road leading from the leisure centre to the health centre. There is cause for concern there because people don’t note what the speed limit is.”
