SNOW is now falling steadily across Doncaster and the rest of the region - but there are no reported travel problems.

The snow, which is predicted to last well into the evening has started to settle and some shops and businesses have taken the decision to send staff home early, although there appears to be no major disruption at the moment.

Trains, buses and planes at Robin Hood Airport are all still running normally and Doncaster Council’s gritting teams have been out keeping roads clear.

The snow, which is spreading eastwards across the country, is expected to continue into tonight and tomorrow morning.
