Sex activity at Belton picnic site

NEWS: News.

NEWS: News.

A POPULAR picnic spot between Epworth and Belton is to be police patrolled - in a bid to stop less savoury activities than eating al fresco.

Police are acting after reports filtered through about people having sex at the site, that is highlighted as a meet-up place on both local and national websites for ‘dogging’ activity.

The area around the picnic spot is also well-used by dog walkers. Local police are linking with North Lincolnshire Council’s safer neighbourhood team and local residents to monitor the situation.

A North Lincolnshire Council spokeman, said: “We are aware of the issues at Belton Picnic area. Safer Neighbourhoods and the Neighbourhood Action Team (NAT) are working closely with other agencies to look into ways of dealing with the problem.”
