Police name teenager who collapsed in Denaby Main
A TEENAGER found collapsed in Denaby Main who later died has been named as Liam David Gill.
The 16-year-old, of Craggs Road, Denaby Main, was discovered on Wadworth Street just before 8pm on Saturday, September 29.
He was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary and died an hour later.
A post mortem, conducted on Sunday, proved inconclusive with further tests required to establish the cause of death.
Liam’s death is not being treated as suspicious but police have now arrested six people in connection with the incident.
The six, a 45-year-old woman and five males aged between 15 and 39-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police said Liam’s family do not wish to comment at this time.
