Detectives have released a picture of a man they want to speak to in connection with a number of burglaries across Doncaster.

Colin Richardson is believed to have been involved in offences in Sprotbrough and Askern, say officers leading the investigations.

Supt Eddie Murphy said: “Burglary is a priority for South Yorkshire Police, and we are actively seeking an individual who we believe is responsible for a number of offences.

“During one of the burglaries, a number of sentimental items were stolen, and we want to do everything possible to bring the offender to justice and prevent further upset and distress to the public in Doncaster.”

Police believe Richardson has strong links to Carcraft and Skellow, and also has links to the Balby and Rotherham area.

Members of the public are asked not to approach Richardson, but to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 210 of 1 March 2013. Alternatively, people can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
