Over £7k raised in Nath’s memory
DOTING DAD: Nathan Latibeaudiere, who died at the age of 27 following a lengthy battle with lymphoma with his young son Leo.
THE friends and family of a popular dad-of-one who died from cancer, have raised thousands of pounds for charity in his honour.
The village of Armthorpe was left stunned when 27-year-old Nathan Latibeaudiere lost his lengthy battle with lymphoma back in August.
The Free Press reported the heartfelt tributes left to Nathan, a former Armthorpe School pupil who had a five-year-old son Leo with partner Lucy Gardiner.
A tribute and fundraising page has also been set-up in his memory by heartbroken mum Alison Megahy.
The aim was to raise £5,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research as an extra way of thanking both the Royal Hallamshire and Weston Park Hospitals in Sheffield for the treatment given to Nathan during his three year battle.
However, that target was smashed when over £2,000 was donated at Nathan’s funeral on Friday - seeing the total stand at over £7,000.
His doting family have now set a target of £10,000.
Help them get to that amount by donating at http://www.justgiving.com/Alison-Megahy
