OAP taken to hospital after Doncaster fire

A PENSIONER was taken to hospital last night after a fire incident at her home in Tickhill, Doncaster.

The woman, believed to be in her late 70s, needed medical attention after the oven caught fire in the kitchen of the property in Saffron Crescent about 6.30pm.

Her home was slightly smoke-logged and a fire service spokesman said the cause was accidental.
