Lawyer’s fears over aid cuts

A LAWYER has warned of problems after the announcement that Legal Aid will no longer be available for the majority of family work from April 1.

Jayne Kirtley of Atherton Godfrey said the cut would stop people getting the legal help they need.The Legal Services Commission will continue to offer funding in a limited number of areas.
