Knifepoint robbery on newsagents
A SHOPKEEPER was threatened by a knife wielding thug during a robbery at a Doncaster newsagents.
The robber walked into B&D Stores, Ash Hill Crescent, Hatfield, wearing a hoodie shielding his face.
He then pulled a knife on the owner of the shop, a 41-year-old man, before walking round the counter and emptying the till of cash.
The robber fled on a black mountain bike towards Station Road.
The shopkeeper was not injured in the incident.
The offender was white, 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall, slim and about 24 to 30-years-old. He was wearing a black wooly hat and a green/grey three quarter length hooded coat.
The man was also wearing a black hoodie pulled over his face with the hood up.
The robbery happened at 10.10am on Friday, March 28 but police have only just released details of the incident.
