Hunt for passenger who attacked bus driver

CCTV pictures have been released in a bid to find a violent passenger who launched an unprovoked attack on a bus driver.

Police are appealing for information to trace the man who allegedly punched the driver after he refused to accept his expired bus pass.

The male bus driver for Arriva Yorkshire was driving the Pontefract to Doncaster 408 service.

He stopped at a bus stop on the A19 near to Bentley school, where the man boarded.

The driver sustained bruises to his chest during the attack on December 19.

Police have released CCTV image in a bid to trace the man.
