Get hiking for charity
RESIDENTS are being urged to pull on their hiking boots and take part in a walk around Mexborough for charity.
The trek will begin at Mexborough Library from 10am on Monday, March 12, before taking in a 1.4 mile route around the town.
This is just one of a number of walks being organised across the borough as part of the Doncaster Walking Festival.
Each walk will be in aid of Doncaster civic mayor Eva Hughes’ charity the Aurora Centre, which helps people suffering from cancer. The first walk in Bentley attracted around 160 residents.
