Funeral of Sgt Lee Davidson takes place today

FINAL respects will be paid today to a heroic Doncaster soldier who was killed in action in Afghanistan.

A funeral with full military honours will be held for Sgt Lee Davidson, 32, of Thorne, who was killed in a roadside bomb explosion.

Rev David Green will be leading the service at St Nicholas Parish Church in Thorne at 1pm.
